FAQ
Are your web prices the same as in-store?
Absolutely yes. We work very hard to offer the same level of customer service wether you're in either store or shopping on-line. Our mail order is contained in the same store and it's the same staff picking up the phones, processing your film and wrapping your parcels.
Why can I not check stock figures on the website?
We'd love for you to be able to do this, and we are working towards getting an accurate stock system onto the website. Not wanting to over promise or make false claims we aim to keep the website as up to date as is humanly possible. Until then we ask for your patience and hope that we are approachable enough that you'll want to pick up the phone and speak to us in person, if we can't find exactly the product you were looking for we can do our best to find a suitable alternative, or advise on an estimated delivery time.
Do you do repairs?
Unfortunately we are unable to provide a repair service in-store. With the ammount of skill and training required to fix even the smallest of problems in a digital camera we need to send repairs back to the manufacturer. If we deal with the manufacturer already then we can arrange for your damaged camera to be sent back with just a £25 deposit. The minimum price for repair tends to be around the £100 mark for compact cameras and anywhere from £75 up on DSLR equipment. Turn around time is averaged at 3-4 weeks. If you would like to know more about your repair, feel free to Contact Us.
What is a Re-Box Camera?
Re-Box Cameras:- Each month we receive an allocation of re-furbished cameras from Fuji UK. These are generally cameras that have been sold by, and subsequently returned to, mass retailers such as Sainsburys, Asda and Argos. Many appear to be mail order returns where it seems that people will order several and choose which one to keep from the comfort of their own home before returning the remainder. All of these are returned to Fuji UK who check them and then re-box them with new accessories. They come with a twelve month manufacturer's guarantee. When we take them into stock, they are all double checked by us and clearly labelled as re-boxed before we put them on sale. If we receive an on-line order, the camera is checked for a third time before we despatch it to ensure that, apart from the packaging, you will not be able to distinguish it from a brand new camera.
Where can I buy a camera?

Why can't I buy Sony products online?
Sony believe all their products should have the chance to be demonstrated to a customer. Through our relationship with Sony we have chosen to help them realise this goal.
Specialist Sony products online are available for collect in-store only, where a member of our team will be more than happy to demonstrate the equipment for you.
Sony products can be found through our Sony page.
Do you price match?
We don't like to be beaten by our competitors. Likewise we don't like to be bullied into prices either. Our pricing is in constant review and we work doubley hard to offer the greatest value for money that we can. In the rare circumstance that we are way off then please contact us.
If you took a screen shot of the competitors website and e-mail it to us we can react. We will provide you with a discount code for the value of the difference and you can take full advantage of our bundles and comprehensive stock at a price we can be proud of.
We can only match identical items (including colour variations), they must be in stock and available for immediate delivery. Comparison value includes delivery charges. The product must be available to all customers and excludes any member or mailing list discounts.
All our stock is sourced from UK distributors and we have worked hard to build relationships with a number of suppliers over the years, we do not deal in 'Grey' imported stock from Europe or further afield and will not match prices of those who do.
We are incredibly proud of the service we provide and feel our pricing reflects this, before asking for a price match please get in contact to witness first hand our award winning service, we just may sway you yet.
Luke is especially proud of his habbit of replying to customer e-mails at 3am, apparently if he can't sleep this calms him.
Will you buy my old kit?
The answer is, YES. We can provide a quotation for kit either instore or via e-mail if you would prefer.
We don't have a set trade in value for any camera, we provide a quote based on condition, age and current equivalent. Trade-in's provide a hassle free way of getting rid of ex kit and ease the hit to the wallet. If you are looking to trade up then please get in contact.
