Photo Courses
We offer a series of short courses aimed at helping you get the best from your digital camera.
Beginners
If you've got a digital camera and are feeling a bit bewildered by pixels and menus and just want to know how to get the best photos out of it then this could be the one for you. We'll cover:-
Where to find and how to use some of the more important controls and settings.
Common photo mistakes and how to put them right.
Digital SLR
If you've got a digital SLR and feel you're not using it to it's full potential then this course is designed to give you the necessary knowledge to move on from "Full Auto" mode!
We'll cover:-
Shutter speeds and apertures. What are they and how do you adjust them for the best results.
Exposure errors. How to use exposure lock and exposure compensation to cope with bright skies and backlit situations.
Camera quality settings. Where to find the settings and what they mean. How ISO settings can affect picture quality.
Choosing and using extra lenses.
External flashguns

Digital SLR
Saturday 19th January at our Winton branch
Saturday 2nd February at our Salisbury branch

Courses are from 2-4pm and include sample prints, course notes, tea and biscuits

We are also working on details of two other courses, one on Studio Photography and the other on getting your pictures from your camera to your PC and then some basic Photoshop techniques to get the most from the pictures.
