The Tamron SP AF 28-75mm f2.8 XR Di is a fast standard zoom lens for both full frame and APS-C formats. Tamron's design technology has enabled them to produce a quality lens in a small size. The constant aperture of f/2.8 throughout the zoom range makes it suitable for low light level situations and at that aperture produces a shallow depth of field - ideal for portraiture. Other features include a minimum object distance of 0.33m throughout the zoom range and macro shooting with a maximum magnification ratio of 1:3.92.
