Birds of Prey Day

22nd August 2019

Thursday, 10am-4pm

The day that you have all been waiting for.  The birds of South Wilts Falconry on display all day at The Hamworthy Club in conjuction with

Plus an inspiring presentation 'Wild Taiga' by Canon Wildlife Ambassador, Danny Green in the seminar room

If you are a birder, wildlife photographer or just love birds of prey, we'd love you to join us for this free day out. Come and make a day of it, bring the kids and see some wonderful birds in flight.

We are proud to be working once again with Toby Puddle from South Wilts Falconry. He will bring with him a great selection of Owls and Raptors, which he will have on static display all day, along with two action-packed flying demonstrations, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. All free to see!

Canon Wildlife Ambassador, and wildlife photographer extraordinaire, Danny Green will be with us for the day.

Danny has spent 10 years travelling to the remote forests on the edge of the Arctic Circle in all seasons.

His talk, in the seminar room at 10.30 am, (and repeated at 2pm) is a showcase of some of the best images that he has captured during that time.

"Wild Taiga, a never ending forest, these northern forests are the realm to some of the most iconic species on the planet from large predators, like the brown bear, wolf and wolverine to elusive birds like the great grey owl and golden eagle."

Tickets for Danny's seminar  are just £20 each, refundable against any purchase.

As well as the Canon kit, there will be optics from Zeiss, Steiner and Vortex plus Sirui tripods and printing by Fotospeed.
