"I bought the filter, in the hope that it would reduce lens flare, when taking pictures of point light sources, such as the sun and candle flames. I have not had chance to properly test it yet, as it was a Christmas present to myself. However, I did taken it out for some pre-dawn shots of falling snow, and it was easy to clean off the snow flakes, and to dry the filter. Also, although there were lots of bright street lamps, there does not seem to be any signs of lens flare. So, so far, I am pleased with the filter and look forward to testing it further. "
