*             The D5300 and D3300 are not compatible with M/A mode setting (Enable/Disable) in the 'Manual focus ring in AF mode' menu, and endpoint warning display of focus ring drive area during MF.

**           If the standby timer is allowed to expire, the focus position will change when the timer is restarted. Refocus before shooting. Longer standby times are recommended for manual focus and in other situations in which you may not release the shutter immediately after focusing.

                With cameras that employ 'Optical VR' option in the camera menus, VR function of the lens can be turned on and off. With other cameras, VR is automatically turned on and cannot be canceled.
