"The HB-90A is a lightweight plastic hood for use with the Nikon Z DX 50-250mm zoom lens. It uses Nikon's traditional snap fit mechanism, meaning that it is the work of moments to detach an reverse the hood for stowage when not in use. As a result, it is convenient to always keep the hood attached to lens so that you are never without it. In use, it helps reduce glare and stray light, improving image contrast."
