Sales Advisor – Salisbury Branch

We are looking for an enthusiastic sales advisor to join our friendly Salisbury store team. The ideal candidate will be energetic, enthusiastic and have excellent interpersonal skills.

As a member of the Castle Cameras team, you will be responsible for customer service of all kinds. This involves everything from dealing with customers, selling goods, handling payments and making sure that stock is attractively displayed.

Your main task will be to guide our customers and help them find the products they want. You will also be able to offer advice and answer questions, not just about the products and prices but also issues like stock availability or special promotions that may be running. 

As Castle Cameras is a specialist retailer, photographic product knowledge and retail experience are essential. 

 

Skills and Interests

 You should:

  • Be passionate about photography.
  • Have retail experience.
  • Be ready and able to work within a team.
  • Enjoy working with the public.
  • Have a polite, helpful manner.
  • Be confident.
  • Be smart in appearance.
  • Be good with numbers, and able to use modern computerised equipment such as cash tills and computers.
  • Have plenty of stamina.
  • Experience with listing on eBay desirable.
