"A bit cumbersome when mounted on a camera. Gives a very nice light that is good for close ups and macro. Despite taking normal batteries it is fussy about they type of battery i.e. really need rechargeable batteries. It is often quoted as not being very powerful but it seems pretty good to me, especially as the head is many times larger than a speed-light flash. The zero refresh time is really nice. Using a PC sync cable is a bit of a pain but it does allow you to remove the flash for off-camera flash (I haven't got the recommended TTL compatible remote controller yet as it costs more than the flash , but it would be a welcome addition).
