We’re excited to introduce a new two-part format for our upcoming Canon video event — created specifically for photographers who are curious about video but aren’t sure where to begin.

 

Many keen photographers already own highly capable mirrorless cameras, yet video can still feel confusing, technical, or disconnected from their normal way of working. This event is designed to bridge the gap between stills and motion, showing how video can fit naturally into your existing photography practice.

You can attend one session, or join us for both for a complete learning experience.

  • Key camera settings for video (frame rates, profiles, codecs)

  • Composition, camera movement, and basic storytelling

  • Lenses, audio, and lighting essentials

  • How short video clips can complement your still photography

Afternoon Session: Canon EOS C50 – Cinema in Practice

Duration: 2 hours

This dedicated afternoon workshop takes a deeper look at the Canon EOS C50, Canon’s compact full-frame cinema camera, and how cinema workflows differ from mirrorless shooting.
