Shoot the Natural World Event With John Clements.

3rd September 2019

Come and enjoy a morning or afternoon shooting close-up and scenic images at the beautiful Kingcombe Centre run by Dorset Wildlife Trust.

Your host will be highly respected professional photographer John Clements.

This day is sponsored by Nikon, and as many know from previous events, John's Nikon background and expertise is top draw.

But the day is open to anyone with an interest in fine photography, regardless of your system of choice. Tips and techniques aplenty, and lots of shooting time to enjoy.

The day will start with a short but informal ‘classroom' style session, before we head off to practice the skills.

From a circular walk via the river hook offering numerous subjects close-up and more scenic as we shoot in beautiful meadows.
While for those not so adventurous or in addition, why not photograph the wildflower pollinators as they go about their business?
The veg patch and possibly a moth or two nearer our base add to the days potential subject matter.

Tickets are just £10, book here.

We would recommend that a D SLR or Mirrorless camera, plus a macro/micro lens is a good basic outfit to bring.
John will give top class professional tips on exposure and lighting among others, alongside capturing the best technical quality in your raw files or jpeg shots.

But other lenses to suit your personal taste are also welcome. Likewise a Speedlight and tripod are also useful.
