Seminar Title - Looks of the past, Power of the present
Fujifilm’s legacy in film photography has shaped some of the most iconic colours in visual history. This seminar explores how that heritage lives on today through Fujifilm’s Film Simulations, bringing timeless aesthetics into modern digital workflows. We’ll look at how photographers can achieve beautiful, film-inspired results straight out of camera, reducing editing time while maintaining a distinctive, professional look across genres such as travel, commercial and everyday storytelling.
Luke Davis Bio
Luke is a travel photographer based on the south coast of Dorset, where the quiet rhythm of the countryside continues to shape his creative eye. Drawn to the warm tones and cinematic softness of the analogue era, Luke’s images feel more like memories revisited than moments simply captured. Whether it’s atop a Swiss mountain ridge or exploring Mediterranean backstreets, he seeks out fleeting scenes that invite viewers to slow down and see the world with a little more wonder.
As a FUJIFILM X-Photographer, Luke blends the best of both film and digital, pairing the tactile joy and tonal character of analogue with the speed and flexibility of modern mirrorless X-Series cameras. His work carries a strong sense of mood; timeless, peaceful and rooted in storytelling. With a style that resonates equally in print and online, Luke’s photography continues to draw the attention of brands, publications, and audiences alike.
