Sony Alpha NEX 3 and NEX 5 – First public show

See the Sony NEX 5 and its sister the Sony NEX 3 at Castle Cameras' spring show

Gorgeous, isn’t it? The Sony Alpha NEX range of cameras make their public debut at Castle Cameras’ Spring Show at Dudsbury Golf Club this Tuesday (17th May).

The Sony Alpha NEX 3 and NEX 5 both have a new 25 point focussing system, shoot up to 7fps and have the same EXMOR sensor found in the Sony Alpha 500 to ensure exceptional picture quality and selective focussing.

Both cameras in the range also have ISO range 200-12,900 and Auto High Dynamic Range to handle high contrast subjects, as well as Sweep Panorama.

The NEX 5 also offers full, 1080p, AVCHD Movie and has an optional Stereo Directional Microphone.

In short, the exceptionally slimline NEX 3 and NEX 5 have all the performance and functionality of a Sony Alpha DSLR without the bulky reflex viewing system.

Come along to the Spring Show to learn more about these fantastic new cameras.
