Sony have now released firmware updates for the following models, below we have broken down what each update does:

 

Alpha 7C version 2.00

  • Adds the USB Streaming function to allow connection using a USB cable to a PC for live streaming and online communication with high-quality video and audio. Note: When connecting to a device with a USB Type-C port, use a commercially available USB cable or terminal conversion adaptor.

  • Makes the Eye AF feature compatible with animals when recording a movie

  • Improves the operational stability of the camera

     


ZV-E10 version 2.00

  • Makes the Eye AF feature compatible with animals when recording a movie?

  • Fixes an issue where the Touch Shutter may not work?

  • Improves the operational stability of the camera?


Alpha 7R IVA version 1.10

  • Improves the operational stability of the camera

  • This camera will be compatible with “Still Image Capture Complete Notification API” and “Contents Transfer mode” of Camera Remote SDK

  • **Please note this is for the A variant only**

 Alpha 1 & A9mk2

  • Adds support for FTP transfer in Active Mode

  • Improves the operational stability of the camera
