Sony Alpha Mirrorless Cameras For Sale

Sony were unique for many years in having a mirrorless system with a common lens mount for both full-frame and crop sensor mirrorless cameras.

It means that you can move up through the range without having to ditch a beginner system and start all over again when you outgrow its capability.

Sony's first model was the NEX.  It had a new lens fitting, the Sony E-mount which has remained unchanged.

Like Canon, the NEX range were compact, crop-sensor models introduced as an alternative to a bulky DSLR for travel or casual use.

The first Sony to use a full-frame sensor  and start to challenge the dominance of Canon and Nikon's DSLR ranges was the Alpha 7 in 2013

The original Alpha 7 has progressed through the years, adding high-resolution R models and low-light S models culminating in the Alpha 7RIV.
