The RF 7-14MM F2.8-3.5L FISHEYE STM is a versatile and lightweight ultra-wide RF lens that lets you create differently. You’re able to zoom between two dramatic fisheye views on full-frame cameras – capturing both 190° circular fisheye and 180° full-frame images. You can also convert the circular fisheye into a 2D 180° VR file for immersive 2D viewing on a VR headset. Built for professionals, the lens supports Canon’s high-quality drop-in filter system and quiet leadscrew-type STM autofocus, and features L-series durability.
The RF 7-14MM F2.8-3.5L FISHEYE STM is a specialist professional fisheye zoom lens that is unique in the RF range. It occupies a similar position as the EF 8-15mm f/4L Fisheye USM did in the EF range – although it is more versatile, wider, faster and has superior image quality.

Equidistant projection
This type of projection provides an almost uniform compressed effect from the centre of the image to the periphery. Objects at equal distances from the centre are all shown at the same size, giving higher resolution at the periphery even when the image is stretched for 2D VR.
