The Celestron Ultima Tripod is the ideal support system for many of your favorite outdoor activities from bird watching to stargazing—whether you use a camera, binocular, astronomical binocular, spotting scope, or smaller refractor.

This aluminum tripod comes with a two-way pan/tilt head outfitted with a precise panning handle, a lock to hold the head in place, and a tension adjustment. This is a perfect combination to ensure movements are smooth and makes tracking subjects easier. A quick release plate is included with a 1/4 inch threaded stud making it easier to dismantle your equipment quickly. Built with three leg sections, it extends from a minimum working height of 72cm to a maximum height of 172cm with an extendable 68cm center column. The column features a ballast hook on the bottom to hold a counterweight or pack that adds stability and removes vibration.
