Lightweight protection for regular field use

The case uses the same lightweight and robust material as the Stay-On Cases developed for the Zeiss Gavia, Harpia and Apia 65A. It helps protect the spotting scope while retaining the flexibility required for practical use in the field.

Designed around the angled Apia 85

A removable bridge on one side allows the tripod foot to be rotated while the case is fitted. This feature is specific to the angled Stay-On Case and helps maintain the flexibility of the spotting scope when adjusting its viewing position.

Clear access to focusing and the sunshade

Minimal bridge sections maintain access to the focusing controls, while finger recesses make it easier to reach and operate the sunshade. The Zeiss logo on the sunshade also remains visible whether the sunshade is extended or retracted.

Flexible carrying options

Three carrying strap eyelets provide additional flexibility when transporting the protected scope, allowing it to be carried in either a horizontal or vertical orientation.

One-handed cover operation

An elastic cord and knob system allows the covers to be operated with one hand. The system also provides a way to retain the eyepiece and lens covers while observing, helping to reduce unnecessary movement around the spotting scope.

Room for your eyepiece setup

The generous eyepiece cover provides space for an eyepiece with a permanently mounted throw lever. An internal pocket also offers convenient storage for small accessories such as a lens cap or cleaning cloth.
